The Concept

In 2016, the concept which later became The Senses Project, was just an idea to make meaningful and progressive support available for young adults.

Joe, one of our founders, was determined that the gaps he saw young adults experiencing between children and adult services, meant a different style of support would be a key solution in helping young adults find their feet.

How We Started

To be Understanding of everyone we support, teach, and work with and demonstrate this within how we act.

Our Values

The focus is to make each programme tailored to the young adult, enable them to meet their needs, promote independence, and develop the skills to succeed in their own goals.  Each programme is designed to support our clients' self-development to live independently.

Provide Accessible Person-Centred Support

What Do We Aim For

Our Vision is to see an education and social system which is starting to both, recognise and utilise tailored options to support Young Adults to feel listened to, accepted, confident and inspired to achieve.

We plan for our Workshops to become an available opportunity for Young Adults, in colleges and universities across Dorset and Hampshire. We visualise these workshops being an interactive, inclusive and cost-effective go to service for Young Adults to develop the skills to access work and live independently.
